DIT Students’ Union Welfare Roadshow – Across all sites between Nov 18th and Nov 30th 2010

About the DIT Students’ Union Welfare Roadshow 2010

Clare Cullen the Vice President for Student and Academic Affairs is leading this years Welfare initiative.  This years Roadshow will be a well being resource giving the student am opportunity to share student experiences of mental health issues and inspire others to seek help. College students face stress, relationship issues, alcohol and other drug problems, and this initiative is happening as a means for students to reach out for help, seek advice and get informed.

There are a number of ways a student can get help; this may include talking to a friend or family member, or one can visit a local DIT Counsellor.  A student can talk to your local GP and many young people like to get informed by seeing what services are available on-line.  Click onto www.ditsu.ie for a range of relevant services in Ireland.  DIT Students’ Union will be hosting a number of services, ranging from Mental health, Physical activity and your well being.
