DkIT Careers Service is an integrated service open to all students, staff and recent graduates of Dundalk Institute of Technology looking for careers advice or educational guidance. We also assist employers interested in graduate recruitment.
About the Careers Service
Drop in Service: A Careers Team member is available throughout the academic year to answer your careers queries, help you to explore your careers interests, evaluate and assess your career opportunities and effectively implement your further study decisions - call to see us at Career Query Desk in the Student Services Centre in the Padraig Faulkner Building..
Appointments: A Careers Adviser is available at specific times for consultations. DkIT students and recent graduates can make appointments to see the Careers Adviser by contacting the Reception Desk in the Student Services Office (drop in, phone or email). You will need to fill in a short form to request an individual appointment (30 minutes) and leave it in Reception where you will be given a time.
Careers Information Room: Situated in the Student Services Centre. Students/graduates can access undergraduates & postgraduates information themselves, application forms and many more “take away” & “reference-only” careers materials.
Careers Notice Boards: Check out our notice boards for information on job vacancies, career events and seminars, further studies options and general career information. Our notice boards are situated in the Student Services corridor, the corridor at the back of the Whitaker Theater, Student Services Centre and also in the Nursing Building.
Summer Service: A limited careers service is available during the summer months. However, the careers Information Room in the Student Services suite of offices is open every day from 9.15 to 4.30. DkIT Careers Office is open over the summer months. You can make an appointment to see the Careers Officer by emailing [email protected] or telephone (042)9370243.
